Is Mariah preggo or not?

Mariah Carey (WENN.COM)

Mariah Carey has hinted there's truth behind reports she is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon, confessing she's too "superstitious" to share any baby news right now.

Speculation has followed the couple since Carey pulled out of a Tyler Perry movie over mysterious health concerns in June, but she's yet to confirm or deny whether she's a mum-to-be.

New photos of the singer performing in Brazil and sporting what looks like a fuller figure raised fresh questions and forced Cannon to backtrack over a recent denial. Cannon told New York's 92.3 FM radio station on Monday: "When my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her."

Carey then addressed the issue via a statement released by her publicist Cindi Berger on Thursday. But she refused to confirm or deny the reports - revealing even Berger doesn't know for sure if her client is expecting.

The statement reads: “I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. But I am very superstitious. When the time is right, everyone will know - even Cindi Berger."

Carey and Cannon wed after a whirlwind romance in 2008.

John Mayer gets pissed off at rumour

John Mayer has taken aim at socialite Arianna Huffington's respected blog TheHuffingtonPost.com for publishing an article suggesting he and ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston are working on a reunion.

In the piece, a contributor suggested that Mayer was talking about the actress when he revealed he believed in "second chances" during a concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday.

But a furious Mayer has hit back, comparing the blogger to "a stripper wearing reading glasses".

In a post on Tumblr.com, the singer/songwriter suggested a title for any piece the Huffington Post might run on his response: "JOHN MAYER SLAMS HUFFPO: 'GO F**K YOURSELF!'"

The Huffington Post article also noted that "a woman who resembled Aniston was rumored to be in the wings," at the concert - a claim dismissed by many backstage at the event.

Mayer compared Huffington's blog to "an insolvent law student willing to dance for a few extra dollars."

The rocker and the actress ended their romance early last year (09), and the musician recently admitted he has "never really gotten over" the break-up.

Mayer also took the blog report to task with a post on his own website, in which he wrote, "Huffington Post, this is reporting...? This is equal parts fabricated, cobbled together and misleading.

"Let's break it down: I don't think I ever said, 'I believe in second chances!' but I can't be 100 percent sure, as it's possible I could have accidentally said something succinctly and to the point. The next sentence is from the song Half of My Heart, in reference to the idea that meeting new people allows for hiding old mistakes."

Tiger Woods Ex speaks out

By Christine Kearney

NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - The now ex-wife of Tiger Woods has broken the silence she maintained through the torrid sex scandal that engulfed their marriage, saying she has been through "hell."

Elin Nordegren spoke to People magazine in an interview published on Wednesday, two days after she and Woods issued a statement confirming their divorce, which had been widely anticipated for months after his public confession of infidelity.

"I've been through hell," the Swedish-born former nanny told the publication. "It's hard to think you have this life, and then all of a sudden -- was it a lie? You're struggling because it wasn't real. But I survived, it was hard, but it didn't kill me."

Nordegren, 30, who met Woods at the age of 21 while minding children for a Swedish golfer but is now studying psychology, said she never suspected the affairs that Woods, reputed to be the world's wealthiest sports star, admitted to and publicly apologized for in February.

"I'm so embarrassed that I never suspected -- not a one. For the last three and a half years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school," she said.

When asked about his ex-wife's comments, Woods told reporters on Wednesday after playing a golf event in New Jersey that he "wished her the best in everything."

"It's a sad time in our lives. And we're looking forward to -- in our lives and how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that's the most important thing," he said.

Nordegren said she has "not watched one minute of golf" since the revelations.

FAMILY TORN APART

Woods, who has won 14 major championships, returned to the game in April after losing up to $35 million in sponsorship revenue as his private life unraveled over allegations that surfaced in late November and December about affairs between him and several women.

The revelations surfaced after a middle-of-the-night car accident at the couple's luxury Florida home where Woods crashed into a tree and a fire hydrant. Nordegren told police she smashed the car's back window with a golf club to get him out.

Nordegren told People that she did not hit Woods on the night of the car crash.

"There was never any violence inside or outside our home," she said. "The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous."

Since then Nordegren said she has experienced various emotions. Woods and Nordegren share custody of a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.

"The word betrayal isn't strong enough. I felt like my whole world had fallen apart," she said, before later adding, "I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children."

Of the settlement she received, which neither she nor Woods have disclosed but People estimated to be worth $100 million, she said it wasn't worth splitting up her family.

"Money can't buy me happiness," she said. "Or put my family back together."

Praised for maintaining her privacy through the ordeal, Nordegren, who disclosed she suffered weight and hair loss from stress before the divorce, said she wanted to protect her children.

"For my kids, I felt that (maintaining privacy) was the only normalcy I could give them, since they have a very famous dad," she said.

She conducted the interview over four visits lasting a total of 19 hours at the rented Windermere, Fla., home where she now lives with their two children.

The magazine said Nordegren had approached the publication to tell her side of the story and a spokeswoman said no one had been paid for the article.

"I felt like setting some things straight," Nordegren said in the article.

She and Woods tried for "months and months" to reconcile, she added, but "without trust and love" it wasn't possible. She will relocate to southern Florida so that her children can be close to their father.

"Forgiveness takes time," she said.

Timbaland denies suicide attempt

Timbaland (WENN.COM)

Hip-hop hitmaker Timbaland has been left stunned by reports he was contemplating suicide after a valuable watch was stolen from his home in Malibu, Los Angeles.

TMZ.com reported the L.A. sheriff's department had put out an all points bulletin just before 5pm local time on Tuesday after the producer disappeared following the burglary.

Reports suggested Timbaland was distraught after discovering a $2 million watch had been stolen from his timepiece collection.

Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore confirms a helicopter and squad cars were dispatched to hunt for Timbaland's Escalade, following a worried call to cops from a family friend.

Whitmore has since revealed Timbaland was not a threat to himself and there was no suicide attempt.

And the rapper has now gone public over the fuss, insisting he's still trying to understand how a drive to clear his head after the burglary became a suicide search.

Speaking on pal Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Wednesday, the rap heavyweight said, "I don't know what happened. I don't know what we're talking about... The only thing I did was take a drive to figure out how I was gonna handle it (burglary).

"I wasn't talking, so I guess people got worried... What I tell people is if my mom ain't calling or my brother or my best friend, then there ain't nothing to worry about."

Police are investigating the theft of the watch.
